Mr De Zoysa undertook his specialist training in London at Guys Hospital, St Georges Hospital and the Evelina Hospital for Children where he developed a comprehensive range of specialist skills and expertise encompassing all areas of adult and children’s ENT surgery.
In addition, he has undertaken International Fellowship level training in Head & Neck surgery as well as Skull Base surgery (Surgical approaches to the brain via the nose and ear) at the prestigious Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane, Australia which has pioneered many modern surgical techniques.
Mr De Zoysa has also undertaken advanced fellowship training in Plastic & Reconstructive surgery and Oral and Maxillofacial surgery at Castle Hill Hospital in Yorkshire. This has allowed him to learn techniques employed by linked specialities and tailor them to his patients in ENT.
He completed his undergraduate medical education at UCL where he was awarded a Merit in his Final MB Medicine examination. He then went on to complete a Master’s degree at Imperial College London; here he was awarded a Distinction and the 'Deans Prize' for his work in Surgical Technology and Surgical Robotics.
